Wespac Construction, a highly reputable and professional construction company, has begun work on Qualastat's new: headquarters, fiber optic assembly plant, and engineering center in Chandler, AZ. Chandler is a technology corridor within the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. When completed, Qualastat will have a state-of-the-art facility in an area rich with engineering talent.
Our current facility, in Gettysburg, PA, will remain a manufacturing facility that will continue to support East Coast business with the same level of service, quality, and delivery support that our customers have come to expect. The only difference to our customers will be that the Gettysburg facility will have a greater level of engineering support made available to them by the new, Chandler location.
Our new location, at 6825 West Frye Road, has approximately 13,175 sq. ft. and is 15 minutes from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The facility will reflect the professionalism and first-rate quality of the companies we've partnered with. The deal was brokered by Cushman and Wakefield, a firm that has provided first-class, soup-to-nuts service and has made the acquisition a wonderful experience. The building will be esthetically pleasing and is well designed by the architects at Archicon, L.C.
We are excited for the additional capacity and services that will be afforded by the new facility. Business operations, in the Chandler facility, are slated to commence by June 1, 2010.
